Union Pacific Rail Access and Unit Train Capability
Big Soo Terminal receives six day rail service via the Union Pacific railroad, allowing us to accept dry bulk, liquid, and palletized cars every single day but Sunday. Three separate connection points to the Union Pacific line service our dry bulk and liquid rail terminal as well as our palletized warehouse. The extensive rail track on our property means that Big Soo terminal has the space and the ability to handle full unit train shipments. Additional track space serving our 15 acre lay down yard allows easy access for the transfer of oversize loads, machinery, and equipment between rail and truck or to storage in our yard. No matter what your rail shipment entails, we can help facilitate the unloading, loading, storage, or direct transfer.
